Can Allergies Cause Fatigue?

Yes — allergies cause fatigue, and in some people fatigue is the most disabling symptom. The mechanisms are well understood: allergic inflammation disrupts sleep, activates the immune system continuously, and — if you're taking older antihistamines — the medication itself contributes to tiredness.

Sleep disruption
