1) Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, booking, or attending any Over-65 Bootcamp session you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2) About the Programme
The Over-65 Bootcamp is a free, group exercise class designed for adults aged 65 and over. It is delivered by BMZ Lambert Sports Clinic Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
3) Eligibility & Health
- Participants should be 65+. Carers/support persons are welcome where needed.
- This is a general fitness class and not a medical service. It does not replace advice from your GP or clinician.
- By attending, you confirm you are fit to exercise and will disclose any condition that could affect your participation. If in doubt, consult your GP before attending.
- You agree to follow instructors' guidance, wear appropriate footwear, and stop if you feel unwell or pain.
4) Safety & Liability
- We take reasonable steps to keep sessions safe. You participate at your own risk and remain responsible for your own actions.
- We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property brought to sessions.
- Nothing in these T&Cs excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
5) Conduct & Right to Refuse Entry
We may refuse or withdraw access to the bootcamp (temporarily or permanently) where, in our reasonable opinion, a person:
- is disruptive or disrespectful towards staff or other participants;
- creates problems or safety risks for the session;
- does not follow reasonable instructions of staff;
- engages in behaviour inconsistent with a supportive community environment; or
- persistently objects to photography/filming where it is integral to the promotion of the bootcamp and reasonable alternatives have been offered (see Section 7).
6) Cancellations & Changes
- Sessions may be changed, postponed, or cancelled (e.g. weather, venue availability, staff illness). As the bootcamp is free, no fees are payable or refundable.
- We will try to provide reasonable notice of changes where practicable.
7) Photography, Filming & Promotional Use
- We may take photographs and short video clips during sessions to promote the bootcamp and healthy ageing on our website, social media, and printed materials. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests (promoting community health programmes).
- Opt-out at any time: if you do not wish to be captured, please tell the session lead before the class or contact us on 0208 133 5694 or reception@lambertsportsclinic.co.uk. We will take reasonable steps to avoid capturing you (e.g. seating/positioning) or to remove images on request.
- Where a session is being substantially filmed/photographed and we cannot reasonably exclude individuals from all shots, we may ask those who object to attend an alternative session instead.
Note: Exercising an opt-out will not affect your ability to attend, save where capturing is integral to that specific session and no reasonable alternative is possible.
8) Data Protection
We collect basic contact details and attendance information to run the bootcamp, manage safety, and communicate changes. We keep data only as long as necessary for these purposes. You have rights under UK data protection law, including access, rectification, and erasure. For requests, contact reception@lambertsportsclinic.co.uk or call 0208 133 5694. A fuller privacy notice is available on request.
