You'll have a brief consultation with our GP to discuss your health history, current medications, goals, and any concerns. This allows us to select the most appropriate infusion and identify any contraindications. First-time patients should arrive 10 minutes early.
You'll be seated in a comfortable reclining chair in our clean, professional IV therapy room. We'll take your vital signs and locate the best vein for catheter placement (usually in your arm).
A small IV catheter (cannula) is inserted—the process is quick and minimally uncomfortable, often barely felt. The area is cleaned with antiseptic solution and a tiny needle is used for insertion. Once placed, the needle is removed and the soft plastic catheter remains in your vein.
Your chosen infusion is connected to the IV line and administered over 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the type. You can relax, read, work, or chat during your infusion. Most people find it peaceful and rejuvenating.
Once the infusion is complete, the IV catheter is removed and a small bandage is applied. You'll receive aftercare instructions including hydration recommendations and activity guidance. Most people feel effects within hours and continue experiencing benefits for days afterwards.
